Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian and TV personality best known as the host for The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas was raised between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from a troubled family. Sheryl was raised by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered with her own illness called Polio. When she was a child, she had an uneasy relationship to her maternal grandmother. Sheryl says that at the past, her mother would stab her father for getting too close to her. Sheryl joined military after graduating from the college. Sheryl's passion for comedy was evident. She was chosen as the first woman to be a finalist of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, which was held in 1989. She began her TV career in 1992 appearing as a frequently performing performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of the television talk show Oh Drama! In 2011, she began being in The Talk as co-host. In addition, she has a fictional role in shows like Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
